About you 

We are looking for an Associate Product Owner to join our Product team at our office at Elliniko, Greece.

As an Associate Product Owner, you will develop skills that are needed for user research, functional analysis, product and project management. You will contribute significantly to our product strategy and vision at a global scale and manage the product roadmap in order to make this vision a reality. As this role is explicitly visible and cross-functional, you will be working closely with engineering, design, sales, marketing, operations, customer care, international business development, strategy, and executive teams to bring new products to market, support business development to new countries, identify and grow business opportunities, and continuously enhance our customer experience.

The ideal candidate will have a track record of supporting/owning and managing technology products from conceptualization to launch, deep customer focus, business judgment, and be skilled at breaking down complex, high-level ideas into executable features and priorities. Strong technical understanding, user experience skills and the ability to communicate across the organization, will be critical to success in this role.  


Responsibilities:

  • Own the product roadmap and the priorities of projects.

  • Operate as the ambassador of the product across the organization, as well as the primary go-to person for enquiries related to the product.

  • Produce detailed and clear specifications for new product features, appropriately comprehensible to the engineering teams.

  • Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and project management teams to deliver on the product roadmap and lead new feature launches.

  • Continuously strive for a healthy balance of innovation, support, maintenance, and expeditious time-to-market. Safeguard that all members of the team are doing the right thing at any given time.

  • Define and analyze metrics concerning customer feedback and usage behavior.

  • Solidify decisions based on data and raise the bar higher for customer and user experience.

  • Play an integral role in adopting best practices in software delivery workflows.

  • Help the team grow. Make sure that the team is happy, productive, inspired, informed, and gets things done.

Job requirements

Must Have:

  • Εconomics / Business / Engineering graduate (Bachelor degree at a minimum, completed studies only)

  • Strong analytical skills, ability to develop metrics and gather data to base decisions and drive actions.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Sound business judgement and willingness to roll up the sleeves and dive deep.

  • Be adaptable to change, think on your feet and execute quickly.

  • Familiarity with project / task management tools (JIRA, Trello, Asana, etc.)

  • Fluency in English 

  • Completed military obligation (if relevant)

Nice to have:

  • MSc / MBA (in Technology or Business field)

  • 1+ years of product management experience in technology products / software delivery

  • Demonstrated solid technical background in software engineering.

  • Experience with agile product management methodologies
